TRUCK YOU! A 2000 Ford F-250 Lariat That Keeps on Chuggin’
There are many people out there that like to claim that Ford trucks are, in some unbelievable way, unreliable and undependable vehicles. Of course, we’re sure that most of these claims come from the mouths of bow-tie fanatics, or maybe the infrequent Dodge enthusiast, who have likely never owned one of these remarkable rigs. As for all of us who have had the pleasure to owner a Ford truck, we all know that these ridiculous claims are exactly that — ridiculous!
Today we’ll be stepping inside FTE member Rich’s (A.K.A. “Tugly“) garage and taking a look at the ride that lies within, which certainly is a testament to the reliability of good ol’ Ford trucks!
Rich is the proud owner of a 2000 Ford F-250 Lariat that currently had over 280,000 miles on the 7.3L PSD motor, which is a wonderful piece of proof that shows just how long-lasting and dependable these rigs really are, despite what the naysayers claim! What’s more, is that the rig isn’t stock either — but who could keep it stock for that many miles, anyway?
As it sits now, the F-250 has an AIS intake, a 4″ Flow Pro, Riffraff Diesel Billet intake manifold plenums, a TS chip, a multimedia touchscreen and backup camera, and more!
For all the Ford truck owners out there, let’s continue to prove those who claim our brand is “no good” and “unreliable” terribly wrong! As Rich’s ride definitely shows, Ford rigs keep on chuggin’!
Go check out his garage and leave some comments, browse the photography, and have a good time! Be sure to keep your garage up to date and maybe you’ll be featured next week on TRUCK YOU!
