TRUCK YOU! A 1997 Ford F-350 Crew Cab

By -

As strange as it might seem to some, rigs from 1991 are now considered “classic” vehicles. Not that they are worth more as a specific classic ride, but they are now recognized by the government as being under this status.

For people living in areas that test emissions during inspection, this is a wonderful thing since their rig is now exempt! It also allows for one to get special plates, or import the ride into the United States without any special requirements. Still, it seems strange that a vehicle from 1991 would now qualify under this status. But just wait — by 2025 all ’90s rides will be classic!

While we might not view these vehicles as being this old, they are getting up there in years. We absolutely love them, and hope we see them on the road for many years to come! Thanks to people like FTE member Ben, who is also known by his username 97-psd, this may very well be the case! Today we’ll step inside his garage and see what outstanding ’90s rig lies within!

Ben is the proud owner of a 1997 Ford F-350 Crew Cab. To be more specific, he is the owner of a 1997 Ford F-350 PSD Crew Cab SRW 3.55 5-speed 4×4 with 290,000 miles and counting on the odometer!

Amazingly, this superb ride is modified as well. As it sits now, the rig has a 3.5″ down-pipe, a 3.5″ exhaust with a side pipe, a do-it-yourself intake, electric fuel injection, a DP tuner, and much more!

In addition to his wonderful Ford, Ben also owns a 1978 Jeep J10 pickup that functions as his Sunday ride! Go stop by his garage and leave some comments, browse the photography, and have a great time! Be sure to keep your garage up to date and maybe you’ll be featured next week on TRUCK YOU!
