TRUCK YOU! A 1997 F-250 and a Garage Full of Fords
It doesn’t take anything more than basic common sense to see why Ford is such a wonderful and trustworthy brand, regardless of whether you’re looking at cars or trucks. Of course, we have to admit that the trucks they make are, in fact, better.
After all, how could one pass up the glory of a tall, loud, and proud rig just for a small daily driver that just blends in on the road. No criticism for either, of course — just an appreciation for the magnificent trucks that come out of the Ford factories!
FTE member Matt (A.K.A. “spike552“) is clearly a big fan of anything an everything Ford makes, so today we’ll be stepping inside his garage to take a look at the rides within!
The primary ride in Matt’s garage is a 1997 Ford F-250 HD 4×4 with a 351W, dual tanks, and a dual exhaust. The ride is painted blue, which is definitely a good color on these old rigs, and seems to be quite well cared for.
So far all he has done to the ride is add lighting to it, but he plans to add a K&N intake, a custom bumper, and a better exhaust in order to get the ride to where he wants it to be.
Though already a superb truck, we can see why Matt would want to do these things. After all, there is always something you can do to make your ride better!
In addition to his 1997 F-250, Matt also owns a 2015 F-250, a 2012 Mustang V6, a 2008 F-350, a 1987 F-150 I6, a 1987 F-150 4×4, a 1979 F-150 in black, and a 1979 F-150 in blue. Clearly Matt is a Ford guy, and we can’t blame him for that!
Go drop by his garage and leave some comments, browse the photography, and have a good time! Be sure to keep your garage up to date and maybe you’ll be featured next week on TRUCK YOU!
