TRUCK YOU! A ’93 F-250, Explorer and 2 Rangers
FTE member Old93junk (A.K.A. “Dave”) is the proud owner of four amazing Ford trucks. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and working on his trucks and has been a member of the site since 2008.
Whether or not he is going down to the river or daily driving, Fords get him where he needs to go. Today we’ll step inside his garage and take a look at the amazing machines that make their home inside!
The first of these rigs is a 1993 Ford F-250HD with a 460 c.i. engine. The truck has an automatic transmission and has been modified in several ways to make it even better than it was stock.
Dave has added Headman headers, a custom exhaust, a large transmission cooler, and more. The rig also sometimes sports a camper on the bed, making it perfect for trips and camping — just another perk of owning a truck!
Besides his F-250, Dave also owns a 1984 Ford Ranger 4×4 with a 2.8 V6 engine and a 5-speed manual transmission. Ford Rangers are wonderful little trucks, and what they can do has always been impressive.
Even so, there is little more impressive than the fact that this wonderful rig has made it 55,140 miles — and counting!
In addition to the ’84 Ranger and the ’93 F-250HD, Dave also owns a 1993 Ford Ranger Splash and a 1996 Ford Explorer Limited. The ’93 Ranger is equipped with a 2.3L engine and a 5-speed manual transmission. The Explorer has a 4.0L V6 OHV engine.
Go drop by Dave’s garage and leave some comments, browse the photography, and have a good time! Be sure to keep your garage up to date and maybe you’ll be featured next week!
