TRUCK YOU! A Red F-250 and a Big Green Excursion from Colorado
Colorado is a great place for Ford trucks. There’s rugged terrain, mountains, and — who could forget — snow! FTE member Immortal_Ben (A.K.A. “Ben”) seems to have taken this truth to heart, considering he owns not one, but two glorious Fords!
The first is a 2000 Ford Excursion and the second is a 1998 Ford F-250 SuperCab. Today we’ll step inside his garage and take a look at the two Rockies-conquering beasts!
Unfortunately, not every truck has an good life. Many are abused, neglected, and smashed into things on a regular basis. When Ben bought his Excursion, we wouldn’t say it was in good shape.
Just looking at some of the visuals, the Ford has clearly received a pretty thorough beating in its few years of life. Even so, sometimes these are the best kinds of trucks.
After all, there is always tons of potential. Ben recognized this and took the beast into his care. Now the green V10 Excursion has 35″ Nitto Trail Grapplers, 18″ wheels, EBC Sports Rotors, a 2005 HD grille, and more! Not to mention that it has been tuned by 5Star.
But the Excursion is definitely not alone in the garage! Accompanying the green monster is a red Ford F-250 SuperCab. The red 4×4 is definitely not as new as his other ride, but it’s just as great.
The red pickup has an 8″ Rancho lift, RS9000 shocks, stock wheels, and more to come. In the future Ben hopes to add Nerf bars, ARB air lockers, dual steering stabilizers, and more.
Ben has done a great job with his Ford trucks, and has proven that sometimes the best trucks aren’t always the ones that start out from easy beginnings.
Go check out his garage and leave some comments, browse the photography, and have a good time! Be sure to keep your garage up to date and maybe you’ll be featured next week!
