TRUCK YOU! A 1985 Bronco XLT Daily Driver in Alaska
The Bronco is a true classic. They’re big, mean, and loud gas guzzlers without a care in the world. They’re pure Ford, through and through, and we love them for that.
FTE member arctic y block is a proud owner of one of these classic icons, and today we’ll take a closer look into his garage to see it.
He drives his Bronco daily, in between raising his grand kids, and often spends his time hunting and fishing. The specific rig he owns is a 1985 Bronco XLT.
The truck has automatic locking hubs, aluminum wheels with 33″ tires, custom seats, and more. The engine is a 351 and the transmission is automatic. The Bronco gets about 6.8 miles per gallon as it sits now.
Overall, the rig looks awfully good stays very true to the true spirit of being a Bronco. We’re sure it’s a fun car to drive, whether it be off-road or behind a Volvo that’s just going a bit too slow.
Not to mention that arctic y block makes his home in Alaska — so we’re sure the Bronco is helpful in the snow!
When it comes down to it, the rig is all around just great. Arctic y block ought to be glad to have it, and we’re sure he is.
And with gas prices going down across the United States it should become just a bit easier to fill up that tank!
Go drop by arctic y block’s garage and leave your comments, browse the photography, and have a good time! Be sure to keep your garage up to date and maybe you’ll be featured next week!
