TRUCK YOU! 1977 Ford F-150, 1995 F-350 and More
Ford trucks really are the best rigs out there, and arguing that point is rather pointless. Strong, reliable, and hard-working, we really wouldn’t want to be behind the wheel of any other truck. Not only can they handle daily driving, hauling, and off-road adventures, but they are often used to more difficult versions of fun and sport.
For example, many Ford trucks are seen mudding, leaping at the dunes (or not at the dunes!), and climbing some pretty hardcore rock piles. The truth is that these rigs can be encompassed with just one word, and that word is “capable.” No matter what is thrown at these outstanding rides, they always seem to be able to take it.
Today we’ll be stepping into the garage of FTE member Larry, who is also known by his username 77mud, and taking a closer look at his superb rides that lie within!
Larry has four rides in his garage, only one of which is not a Ford truck. The first of his rides is a 1995 Ford F-150 Crew Cab with a 7.3L PowerStroke Diesel motor. The ride has a Harley-Davidson torque convertor, a Hayden transmission cooler, and a shift kit. Larry’s second ride is a 1997 Ford F-150 4×4 with a 4.3L motor, a manual transmission, a a Flowmaster exhaust.
Thirdly, Larry owns a 1977 Ford F-150 with a 205 cubic inch motor, a C6 transmission, a 9″ rear, a Dana 44 front, and much more. This blue beast is used as a mudding rig, and it definitely seems to perform well!
Lastly, Larry also owns a 1988 Jeep Comanche, which seems to fit in strangely well with his fleet! Go check out his garage and leave some comments, browse the photography, and have a great time! Be sure to keep your garage up to date and maybe you’ll be featured next week on TRUCK YOU!
