Top Gear-Driven Ford Raptor Hits Auction Block This Week

Top Gear truck

Remember during the last season of Top Gear UK when the team threw Richard Hammond into the wilderness of North America and left him to await a rescue from Clarkson and May? Well during that episode, Jeremy’s vehicle of choice for his overland rescue attempt was nothing short of absurdly powerful and exciting. He chose a tuned Ford Raptor that was named the VelociRaptor 600.

The machine was created by Hennessey Performance, and it produced 623 horsepower from its 6.2-liter supercharged V8. Painted in bright yellow, it was the only logical machine for Clarkson to use for a trek through the wild woods of the Great White North.

Now you can relive your own Top Gear fantasies as the exact truck that Clarkson piloted in that episode is up for sale with Barrett-Jackson handling the details. Not only do you get to own a piece of Top Gear history, but you also get to help out a worthy cause with all proceeds heading to the Paralyzed Veterans of America organization. The auction happens this Friday, April 8 at 1400 at the Palm Beach event.

The last time the truck was for slae, it carried a sticker of $150,000, but this is a no reserve auction, so you could pick it up even cheaper. Possibly. Maybe.

Happy bidding everyone.
