Tire Smokin’ Ranger Roars at High School Nationals

high school ranger burnout

This week’s Tire Smokin’ video featured a high riding Ford Ranger participating in a burnout competition at the high school nationals at Milan Dragway in Michigan. I don’t have any further details on this event, but I expect that it is a drag racing event for high school students and based on this video, they have a burnout competition. That being said, this rugged little Ranger is likely the daily driver of a high school kid, but that doesn’t stop the truck or the driver from doing an impressive burnout.

The Ford Ranger isn’t known for being much of a performance truck, but with the help of some smaller rear tires, this old school compact pickup has no issue doing a massive burnout. For the better part of a minute, this Ranger has smoke rolling from both rear tires and while we don’t know how he did in the competition – there is no question that he put forth one hell of an effort.
