Tire Smokin’ PowerStroke F-250 Does a Quick Burnout

This week’s Tire Smokin’ video features a late 1st generation Ford F-250 Super Duty doing a quick yet smokey burnout. The details on this F-250 are short, but we know that it is powered by the 6.0L PowerStroke diesel and we know that it has straight pipe exhaust. Also, based on the amount of soot pouring from the exhaust immediately prior to the burnout, I would guess that there are some other modifications – even if only something as simple as a tuning device.

In any case, the video starts off with the driver spooling up the big turbo diesel F-250, with soot briefly pouring from the exhaust pipe before the tires begin to spin. The diesel soot fades away as the tire smoke builds and after a few seconds of stationary burnout action, the driver lets the big Ford roll past the camera – with the rear tires continuing to smoke hard.
