TIRE SMOKIN’ Ranger Paints Long Lines on the Road
This week’s Tire Smokin’ video features a 1991 Ford Ranger doing a long, sideways burnout on a desolate country road. I don’t know what transmission is in this Ranger, but I would guess that it was a manual, but regardless of the transmission, this little 6-cylinder pickup has no problem painting long lines on the road.
When the video begins with the 1991 Ford Ranger already spinning the tires and as the engine revs, we see a bit of smoke coming from the back of the vehicle. Honestly, there is little enough tire smoke that I wondered if perhaps something was wrong mechanically, but as the Ranger gets closer to the camera, we can see that it has put long stripes on the road. Also, as it gets closer to the camera, more tire smoke pours from the back tires and throughout the duration of the 33 second video, this 4.0L Ranger is spinning the tires hard.
