THROWBACK THURSDAY 2002 Ford Super Duty Pulls a Ship
This week’s Throwback Thursday takes us back to 2002 for a Ford Super Duty ad that follows in the fine tradition of unbelievable truck advertisements. This 2002 Ford spot starts off by showing a massive icebreaker ship pushing its way through a frozen sea, talking about how it is powered by six diesel engines. Unfortunately, sometimes six diesel engines isn’t enough – and that is there the 2002 Ford Super Duty with the 7.3L PowerStroke diesel comes into play.
The big Ford truck is lowered from the deck of the ship down onto the ice-covered ocean and hooked up to the massive boat. Although the diesel ship cannot move itself through the thick ice, the PowerStroke diesel saves the day!
