This is What a Lincoln Version of the Ford Ranger Might Look Like…in the ’80s

By -

Every year, the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show highlights the latest and greatest in aftermarket vehicle parts and products, and custom vehicles. Ford had a huge presence at this year’s show (we made sure to bring you pictures of it here, here, and here.)

With so much new metal at SEMA every year, it’s easy to forget that there was once a time when the 1980s Ford Ranger was a popular vehicle to upgrade. That’s when this 1986 truck was given its own display at the event. Yes, I said truck. Think of it as a ritzy Ranchero. A builder grafted a Lincoln Continental nose and rear end onto it and gave its interior the Lincoln treatment. The seller plans on giving it some wrench time to get it running again for whoever is willing to trade $8,500, a classic car, or a travel trailer for it.
