Late last month, the Ford F-150, Expedition, and C-Max were found to be rather APEAL-ing in the J.D. Power 2015 U.S. Automotive Performance, Execution, and Layout Study. Now, the Escape is getting some spotlight of its own.

After 90 days of ownership, drivers of the 2015 Escape were asked about their experiences and problems with the vehicle as part of the J.D. Power 2015 Initial Quality Study.

Their verdict? The Escape (as well as another vehicle) had the fewest issues per 100 vehicles in the compact SUV class.

Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait to see how the 2016 Escape and its SYNC 3 system will fare in next year’s IQS.

How have your experiences with the 2015 Escape been?
