Ten Coolest Ford Trucks on Reddit Right Now

1949 Ford F1

Of the thousands of incredible Ford trucks floating around Reddit, we sifted through and picked out our favorites.

On the good old world wide web, there are many places to find cool truck content. One of the greatest sources for that, of course, is right here in the Ford Truck Enthusiasts forums. But we also frequently find ourselves scrolling through the many fine rides folks share over at Reddit. Mostly because they’re real trucks owned by real truck enthusiasts, not just a bunch of high dollar show rigs.

Thus, we thought it would be prudent to round up a few of our Reddit favorites and bring them to you here in a nice, succinct summary. Heck, if nothing else, we’re saving you a little wear and tear on your scrolling finger!

1974 Ford F-250

1974 Ford F-250

This beautiful creamsicle orange and white ’74 F-250 belongs to lelandjames, and it’s a fine example of one of our favorite body styles ever. It also packs a great drivetrain combo with a 390 under the hood and C6 automatic transmission behind it.

1977 Ford F-150

Speaking of Dentsides, this ’77 F-150 owned by Dimes99 is certainly a looker, too. Red just looks fantastic on these old trucks, and we’re digging the white roof treatment, too. Throw on a set of classic wheels and slightly beefy rubber, and you’ve got a great, timeless combo.

1989 Ford F-250

If there’s one thing we always appreciate, it’s seeing an older pickup still out on the road working hard. And this ’89 F-250, owned by special_evan, certainly fits that bill. Looking great in its mostly original garb, this high-rolling Ford is frequently used for road trips. There might not be a ton of room in that bed-mounted camper, but it sure looks cool nonetheless!

1979 Ford F-150

We’re loving this beautiful blue ’79 F-150 owned by imnew88, though we’re sure some folks won’t approve of the modern black wheels. But at least they aren’t over the top like many similar hoops. Otherwise, there’s no arguing with the cool factor this old Ford possesses. With a nice lift and meaty tires, it packs a perfect stance, too.

1996 Ford F-150

1996 Ford F-150

Sure, this ’96 owned by Sliderisk is a great looking rig. But the story behind it (and more specifically, the wheels) is even cooler than the truck itself. Turns out, the owner broke one of the wheels after a nasty encounter with ice. He rolled into a Ford dealership looking for a new one, which seemed impossible 21 years later. Amazingly enough, there was one left in stock – at a dealership in American Samoa!

Ford C-Series

C-Series

Reddit user TexasHooker doesn’t actually own this gorgeous old Ford C-Series truck. But he spotted it while driving around town, and that’s good enough for us. Mostly because you just don’t see many of these old commercial rigs in this kind of shape anymore!

1970 Ford F-250

1970 Ford F-250

This killer ’70 F-250, owned by D34d51ght3d, is awesome enough in its own right. But his tiny version of the same pickup, gifted to him by his sister, is every bit as cool. If only it matched that hulking 4×4 in terms of paint scheme, it might be even cooler!

1972 Ford F-250

1972 Ford F-250

When it comes to the many classics we’ve seen on Reddit, few compare to this amazing ’72 owned by Furious_Whiskers_56. Looking clean and rust-free in appliance white paint, there’s really nothing not to like. Everything, from the wheels to the stance, looks absolutely perfect without going over the top.

Ford F-150

’90s Ford F-150 Flareside

They might not get as much attention as Ford trucks from the ’70s or earlier, but we have a real soft spot for ’90s F-150s. Especially those with Flareside beds, a signature styling cue from that decade. And you won’t find any that look better than this stunning F-150 owned by Brandon4point9!

1949 Ford F1

User that77f150 might not own this monstrous ’49 Ford F1, but it was simply too incredible not to share. Sitting up high on proper monster truck tires and wearing loads of patina, this thing looks like something straight out of a horror movie. But there’s certainly nothing scary about it to us.

This is just a small sampling of the many great Ford trucks you’ll find over at Reddit. So be sure and check them all out by heading over here!
