This 1969 Ford F-250 was worn down and beaten up just a few months ago, but now it’s a true stunner.

With old truck values rising by the day, we’re seeing more and more finely restored examples of these vintage haulers. That’s certainly the case with this beautiful 1969 Ford F-250 we spotted over at Bring a Trailer, which wasn’t much more than a beat-up, worn-out pickup before the seller got their hands on it early this year. Now, it’s a stunning work of art that any Blue Oval fan would love to have in their garage.

Upon purchasing the well-worn 1969 Ford F-250, the seller removed the body panels, stripped them all down, and repainted everything a tasty shade of Firenze Red Metallic, with a contrasting white roof. After that, a literal spreadsheet of new bits and pieces were installed, including things like window seals, side moldings, emblems, headlights, and much, much more.

These old Ford trucks look fantastic when fitted with big beefy tires, so it’s no surprise that this one rolls on a set of polished 17-inch Mickey Thompson wheels wrapped with Pro-Comp Xtreme MT2 rubber measuring in at a substantial 37×12.5-inches. Much of the rest of the truck was gone through with a fine-tooth comb to ensure that it drives as good as it looks, including the steering and brakes, while a spray-in bedliner ensures that it can still be used as originally intended.

The gorgeous exterior hue carries over to the cab of this classic Blue Oval pickup, which has also been treated to a diamond-stitched tan vinyl bench seat, black carpet, sound deadening, a new stereo system, door panels, switches, and shift knobs for a fresh appearance. While most everything remains stock, a very nice wood rim steering wheel was added for a classic upgrade.

The seller then turned their attention to the F-250’s original 360 V8 powerplant, as it was completely taken apart, media blasted, and painted. A stroker kit increases the displacement to 390 cubic inches, while a bevy of aftermarket parts was installed including a Comp cam, new carb, aluminum radiator, and Edelbrock air cleaner. Shifts happen the old-fashioned way, via a four-speed manual gearbox.

Following months of hard work, this classic Ford F-250 hit the auction block and immediately attracted quite a bit of interest, which is no surprise. After all, there’s nothing more timeless than a tastefully refurbished vintage Ford pickup, and this is certainly one of the nicest we’ve come across in a while.
