2016 F-150 Special Service Vehicle package

Ford has long provided vehicles to law enforcement, and they’re carrying on that tradition by making available the 2016 Ford F-150 in a Special Services Vehicle format designed for law enforcement and other uses. Now law enforcement has a new way to come for you!

The F-150 SSV has an upgraded alternator to handle additional equipment, the rear seats are vinyl so they’re easy to clean, and the center console is easily removed for the installation of other equipment. The SSV is available in both the SuperCab and SuperCrew configurations.

The SSV is utilizing the XL trim of the new F-150, and can be had with either the 5.0L Coyote V8, or the 3.5L EcoBoost turbocharged V6. You know, because you gotta have a cop engine in your cop truck!

In all seriousness, this package makes a ton of sense and should sell very well, especially considering I see F-150s doing police work now.

Also, for municipaltiies worried about safety, remember the new F-150 is 5-star crash tested from the government and scored the highest rating for pickup trucks from the IIHS.
