SEMA’S ‘Golden’ Ford Truck Moment
Golden, Colorado’s Five-R Trucks reimagines a 1996 Ford Bronco into a SEMA Show-stopper called ‘The Red Night.’
All week, Ford Truck Enthusiasts is on the scene at the SEMA Show, where there is a helluva lotta impressive heavy metal rolling around Sin City. And perhaps the most stunning arrival so far comes from Golden, Colorado, where Five-R Trucks initially crafted the badass beast of a Bronco called “The Red Night,” which we spotted today at SEMA. And since it’s Halloween, we figured we’d treat our fellow Ford Truck Enthusiasts friends to this rockin’ project truck.
Sure, the Rigid LED lights, Fusion bumpers, Fab Fours roof rack, and the Line-X Ultra Liner are pretty damn sweet, as are those bold black streaks across the body, but this particular 1996 Ford Bronco is just as awesome on the inside as it is on the outside.
For power, control, and driving comfort, the Bronc has E400 transmission, Fox 2.0 RR shocks, and Tom Woods driveshafts, and under the hood is a 5.0L Coyote engine. And just when you think this truck couldn’t get any more awesome, they added Ford Racing Recaro Seats, Huskeyliner floormats, a Bedrug interior liner, and, of course, a top-rate sound system by Rockford Fosgate Audio System. If we had a chance to get behind the wheel of this Bronco, we don’t think we’d ever want to leave.
Then again, it’s only Tuesday, and SEMA just started, so impressive as The Red Night is, this stunner is likely just the first scene-stealer of what’s about to be a week filled with them. Stay tuned to FTE for more exclusive coverage from SEMA!
