More Customized Ford Trucks from SEMA 2017

The Operator SEMA

No matter what you do with your Ford truck, SEMA has something for everyone.

The SEMA Show is usually filled to the brim with blinged-out brodozers, that’s been a trend for several years now. However, we find ourselves a bit more impressed by functional builds that are more focused on utility than eye appeal. This truck, appropriately called The Operator, is based on a 2017 F-350 4×4 Lariat Crew Cab. It’s one long, tall drink of water, and it needs that enormous bed to haul the included UTV and camping gear.

SEMA Woodsman

If you’re looking for something a little more nimble on the trails, the Vaccar EcoSport, named Woodsman, takes things in the opposite direction. This tiny soft-roader makes up for its small size with some choice upgrades. The Continental all-terrain tires on Konig Runlite wheels will make this pint-sized crossover a gravel hound, for sure. While not as involved as some of the other builds, the small touches, like extended forged-steel lug nuts, amber-colored LED light bar, and personal vault in the cargo area, do their best to make this cute ute at least look capable.

Baja Ford Adventurer Expedition SEMA

Somewhere between The Operator and Woodsman lies the Baja Ford Adventurer Expedition. It’s the Goldilocks of Ford’s adventure-themed trucks at this year’s SEMA Show. Apparently inspired by west coast off-road trends, this family hauler has seating for seven, and includes a rooftop tent and a refrigerator. Custom fender flares and high-clearance Baja-style bumpers make room for 35″” all-terrain tires, meaning that this Expedition will be sure to live up to its name. Just be sure to pack that refrigerator full of goodies to make sure your seven person wilderness expedition doesn’t turn out like the Donner Party.

Ford Expedition SEMA

Of course, if you prefer to explore the asphalt jungle, Ford has an Expedition outfitted for that, too. This truck is lowered on a set of large-diameter wheels and low profile tires thanks to Savini & General. There’s some serious stopping power too, thanks to six-piston Sparta brakes. Alea interior has provided their finest leather appointments, giving you and your friends a nice place to sit and enjoy the sound of the CGS Performance cat back exhaust.

On road, off-road, and everywhere in between, Ford has you covered at SEMA this year.
