SEMA 2018 Promises More Hot Ford Truck Action Than Ever

By -

Trucks are becoming a bigger and bigger part of SEMA each year. And even the general public can get in on the action!

The Specialty Equipment Market Association show (SEMA) has historically been an event only open to those in the automotive industry. But in recent years, it’s become a showcase not just for those who work in the industry. But also for consumers who obsess over their trucks and other vehicles. It’s a way for businesses to make a name for themselves by building and showcasing insane, over the top rides. And it’s a great way to find that part that you’ll want to install on your very own pickup.

SEMA is a massive event, and it just keeps getting bigger. This year, the automotive showcase will cover over a million square feet of the Las Vegas Convention Center from October 30-November 2. In that space you’ll find 3,000+ new products by 2,400+ companies, along with 1,500+ vehicles. And as trucks continue to exploded in popularity, you can bet that a large portion of all three will have a Blue Oval on them.

This year, the automotive media will get a sneak peek at all of the latest truck accessories, courtesy of the Light Truck Accessory Alliance (LTAA), on October 29. This showcase includes the latest and greatest in truck parts, whether you’re talking about street machines or off-road beasts. It’s an exciting addition to this year’s SEMA. And a testament to just how popular truck mods have become.

But what if you’re not a member of the auto industry or a media member? Well, you’re in luck. This year, SEMA is bringing back “Ignited,” which is essentially their giant after party. This action-packed event, taking place November 2 from 3pm-10pm, is open to the public and takes place in the convention center parking lot.
