I have great news for y’all…and just a little bit of bad news. I’ll start off with what you want to hear.
The 1988 Ford Ranger GT you see in the video below packs a V8 attached to a massive, 94-millimeter turbo. That combination is set up to pump out around 1,600 horsepower, but it can be dialed in to produce as much as 2,000.
The Oddball Turbo and Fabrication strip ripper tears its way to a sub-eight-second quarter mile at a staggering 175.43 miles per hour. It can even be driven on the street.
Here’s the bad news: That 375-cubic-inch motor under the hood doesn’t have a Blue Oval on it…
