Video: Go for a Real World Drive Onboard the 2017 F-350 Super Duty
Often times we focus on a truck’s towing capacity, horsepower, and even fuel-efficiency, but what about how it performs on everyday busy streets? After all, it’s not all highway-driving and trailer-pulling, isn’t it?
I’ve brought you this video by some of my favorite guys in the business, Jonny Lieberman and Carlos Lago from the, Motor Trend Channel. This outspoken pair can usually be seen flogging the latest supercars for the sake of editorial research, but this time they’ve chosen to hang out with the all-new 2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty dually.
Now, the coolest part about this video is that they didn’t set out to load up the dually with a Smart car in the truck’s bed, a 30,000 pound trailer, or some crazy challenge that would put the F-350’s capabilities to the test. Nope. They simply went out for a real world drive around LA’s hectic streets. After all, that’s a test that I’d hate to perform, if you ask me.
The real world driving loop consists of both hosts sharing their views on the Super Duty’s attributes, as well as how it feels to drive a building on wheels. Needless to say, it’s worth watching a different take on the usual “badass-truck-pulls-things” kind of truck video.
