This Rare 1957 Ford F-250 4×4 Must be Saved!
Yes, it’s a 1957 – with a 1960 hood and grill. Now that we’ve got that out of the way, this old yellow beast needs you to save it. Four-wheel drive Fords of this era converted by third-party companies didn’t exactly grow on trees, you know?
Other than the front-end butchery that came at the hands of the previous owner, this ’57 4×4 is in solid shape overall. Outside of a little rust and some dings along the side, the original 292 Y-block V8 starts and runs good according to the owner, and it even comes with a bunch of extra parts.
The truck was parked in a shed for around 22 years in sunny California before the current owner bought it and got it running again. Needless to say he’s undoubtedly saved it from rusting away, which is great news for someone seeking a vintage Ford 4×4.
If you’re looking for a cool and old four-wheel drive Ford truck, this one is ready to be driven. If you have bigger ambitions, a restoration job could potentially be a good investment as well, specially as you sure don’t see a lot of these trucks around anymore. That alone makes it worth saving!
