Check Out This Customized Raptor SVT!

Welcome to another installment of the Raptor Report, where we bring you the latest news, info, or unique content regarding everyone’s favorite off-road flying pickup truck, the Ford Raptor.

Today, we’re taking a look at Theresa Contreras’ 2011 SVT Raptor. Theresa’s parents are┬áLGE*CTS Motorsports of San Dimas, California, which are known for building custom trucks. Theresa wanted to follow in her parents’ footsteps, but also did most of the work herself. Check it out!

The first thing you’ll notice is the paintwork, which Theresa also did herself. Aside from having a cool Terminator-style Raptor logo, the truck also has a tire tread pattern painted onto the truck. There is no vinyl wrap here, folks.

Under the hood, the standard 6.2L V8 gets some forced-induction action through the addition of a Whipple supercharger. A custom cold-air intake and exhaust help the engine breathe much more freely.

The Fox Racing shocks have been replaced with an Icon Stage 3 suspension system. Designed to handle the abuses of off-road racing, the system also contains an external fluid reservoir for even better performance and cooling.

The truck is meant to be driven, even with the gorgeous paint. It was originally just designed to be a SEMA concept to show off the family business, but it has grown into a much more complete project that would have no problems tackling Baja or Dakar. We definitely approve!
