The Ford Ranger Wildtrak Needs to Come to the States
I know this seems like a monthly rant, but I’m not going to stop it until Ford Motor Company finally brings back the Ranger. This week, Ford again launched a variation of the Ranger that – again – we can’t get for some unknown reason. Here we have what Ford is calling the Ranger Wildtrak, which was launched in Thailand of all places.
While much of the new Wildtrak is primarily a face-lifted global Ranger, the Wildtrak is more than that. It gets a whole host of off-road-focused technology to give it a much more Raptor-esque feel.
The new Ranger Wildtrak can ford up to 800 mm of water. It comes with an electronically controlled transfer case and beefier bumpers to handle everything an owner can throw at it. You can get it with a five-cylinder diesel, too!
The Ranger Wildtrak will go on sale later this year, but you can check out the press release video down below right now. After you do that, call up your local Ford dealer and tell it, “SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY FOR THIS RANGER!!!”
