Watch the Ranger Pull Logs Like it’s Nobody’s Business!

Most of the time when we hear about the Ford Ranger we think of it as the smaller and less-capable truck that Ford makes, while we think of the F-150 as king of the castle. While the bigger F-150 surely is capable, this Ranger proves to us that its size isn’t related to its might!

We previously brought you the introduction to the video series: “Ford Ranger: Science of Truck,” in which Ford Australia set out to create short videos that’d show the consumer just how tough the Ford Ranger is, and therefore win their hearts and wallets. Well, they’ve succeeded!

This episode is all about one thing – traction. In order to drag things forward or backwards and specially on rough conditions, a truck needs traction to get the job done. Traction comes down to how well the differential can evenly distribute power to the wheels, and how well the tires can hook up.

As you can see, this mighty little Ranger does an excellent job at dragging the heck out of some logs through dirt and even water. Watch the full video to see what all it can do!
