Rad Reddit Relic o’ the Week: Vintage F-100 is an Engine-less Beauty

By -

Sometimes there’s something to be said for the oldies but goodies.

Our latest love from the random Reddit rooms is this currently-engine-less but undeniably badass vintage Ford F-100 truck that stands the test of time.

We can’t figure out what we are enamored with more: that amazing grill, or the cool and unique orange and white color scheme that makes it look like one big, rolling creamsicle. Plus, on any other vehicle, rust looks like crap, of course. But on this beast, the thin layer of rust on the hood is so cool that we’d actually work around it during the restoration process.

The lucky Ford truck owner and Reddit poster, Slim_Grim, says he picked up this gem a couple months back, and it had only one downside: no engine. However, he’s already at work on solving the issue.

“I’ve gotta rebuild one of my old carburetors tomorrow to see if I can get it to idle right,” he writes about his plans on getting this rockin’ relic back in driveable shape.

We’re keepin’ tabs on this one and hope to see it cruising the open roads soon.
