2015 Ford F-150

The first 2015 Ford F-150 with the aluminum body was delivered in early December 2014, so we are without a few weeks of the two year anniversary of the introduction of the aluminum F-150. When the newest generation Ford truck was introduced with the new, lightweight body, Ford Motor Company faced a ton of criticism over their decision to move away from steel. However, as we come up on two years of aluminum F-150 deliveries, there haven’t been any reports of unique problems caused by the aluminum construction.

With this in mind, we come to our latest Question of the Week.

We want to know if your opinion of the aluminum body on the Ford F-150 has changed since it was first introduced. There are two groups of people – those who liked the decision to go to aluminum and those who did not like the move. Where did you stand at first and where do you stand now?

Click here to head into the forum to share your thoughts on the aluminum F-150 after almost two months of deliveries.
