Question of the Week: What Makes the Ford F Series America’s Bestseller?

2015 Ford F-250 Super Duty King Ranch FX4

The Ford F Series pickup led all vehicle sales in 2015 for the 34th straight year and the Ford truck lineup led all pickup sales for the 39th straight year. In case math isn’t your thing, the Ford F Series pickup has outsold every car, truck, sport utility vehicle and van sold in America each and every year since 1981 and the F-150 and company have beaten every other truck in annual sales dating back to 1976. It is an incredible streak and at the current rate of sales, the F Series will almost certainly extent that streak to 35 years for the overall market and 40 years for the truck segment.

For our Question of the Week, we want to know what aspects of the Ford F Series you think play the biggest role in Ford’s incredible sales title streak. There is no wrong or right answer to this question but rather, we want to know what Ford’s fans think are the biggest reasons for the F Series success for the last half-century.
