Question of the Week: Should Ford Build a 2015 F-150-based Bronco?
Shortly after the 2015 Ford F-150 was introduced at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, a set of images surfaced showing what appeared to be a new Ford Bronco that was clearly based on the 2015 F-150.
Sadly, the 2015 Bronco was nothing more than an April Fool’s joke, but there is no question that the F150-turned-Bronco is a sharp looking concept. In fact, it was sharp enough that a great many people proclaimed that it should become a reality and that brings us to our newest Question of the Week.
Do you think that Ford should build a new Bronco based on the 2015 F-150 pickup?
While the Explorer is a strong seller, the Expedition has gotten quite old and there is still clearly a market for a large, truck-based SUV.
Applying the aluminum design of the new F-150 to a new Bronco could allow the Motor Company to better compete with the likes of the Chevy Tahoe, while still being more efficient than current large SUVs.
