QUESTION OF THE WEEK: Problems with Your 2013-14 F-150 Brakes?

By -

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has launched an investigation into some 420,000 Ford F-150 pickups from the 2013-2014 model years after receiving dozens of complaints about the trucks losing braking abilities.

To be exact, the NHTSA has logged 33 complaints about the 2013 and 2014 Ford F-150 with the 3.5L EcoBoost V6 running into situations where the truck lost brake function. In some cases, the drivers said that the brake pedal went to the floor without any notice, instantly taking away their ability to stop the trucks.

In four of these cases, the braking problem has led to an accident, but there were no reports of injuries as a result from this possible F-150 issue.

With this news, we come to our Question of the Week: If you have a 2013 or 2014 Ford F-150, have you had any braking problems?
