Ford Motor Company hasn’t offered up any concrete power numbers for the next generation SVT Raptor F-150, a Ford exec mentioned that it could have 450 horsepower.

With 450 horsepower, the SVT-tuned 3.5L EcoBoost V6 would have 39 more ponies than the previous generation Raptor with the 6.2L V8 and considering the similarities between the horsepower and torque numbers on other 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engines – we can guess that a 450 hp Raptor would have somewhere around 450 lb-ft of torque.

Provided that 450 hp figure for the new Ford SVT Raptor F-150 is accurate, it will offer improved performance, while the new 10-speed transmission and the new lightweight body will further improve performance while also likely making the new Raptor more efficient than the previous models.

For our Question of the Week, we want to know if you think that 450 horsepower is a good number for the next generation Raptor?
