’17 Ford Power Stroke, Ram Cummins, & Chevy Duramax Dyno Battle

By -

The big three’s biggest and baddest trucks are strapped down to see what they’re capable of!

Today’s truck rivalry is as hot and fierce as it’s ever been. Whether it’s in the half-ton truck department, or at the Heavy Duty diesel level, the big three manufacturers are looking to shred the competition to pieces. But, who will win?

We recently brought you an epic dually drag racing video featuring the 2017 Ford Super Duty with the 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel motor, taking on the Ram Cummins HD, and the Chevy Duramax diesel. Now, the folks at The Fast Lane Truck have paired up the same trio once again, but this time it’s not on a track, but on a dyno!

The Ram 3500 HD dually is the first truck to get strapped in, and with a beefy 6.7-liter Cummins straight-six diesel engine, it certainly doesn’t lack power or torque. Second is the 6.7-liter Power Stroke-powered 2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty dually, which although not featuring an entirely new engine like the rest, it’s been redesigned to produce more torque for 2017. Lastly, the 2017 Chevy Silverado 3500 HD dually is brought onto the stage, and its 6.6-liter V8 turbo Duramax diesel is put to the test.

Who’s going to deliver the best power and torque figures? Pay close attention, as we think you’ll be in for a big surprise!
