ROAD TRIP: New Vintage Car Museum Opens in Texas
Don’t you miss the flair and nostalgia of vintage cars? What about the lines on a Ford Model A, or the smooth and curvy body of a Lincoln Continental? Well, now there’s a vintage car museum dedicated to automobiles from the bygone era.
After months of preparation and re-modeling, the Vintage Car Museum and Event Center has opened it’s glorious doors today, and it’s definitely a sight to be seen. Located located in the heart of Weatherford, Texas, this vintage car museum will house automobiles of primarily American manufacturers from the almost every era, including some killer Fords.
Owner Tom Moncrief is delighted the museum is ready. “We’ve waited for this day for some time,” Moncrief said. “And now the museum is ready to open. We have some wonderful cars on display from throughout history with great stories to tell.” Museum curator Terry Mann said, the wide variety of cars on display offers an insider’s look into the history of the automobile industry and an opportunity to view cars no longer being manufactured.
