New Top Gear Caught Filming Mustang Special

I’m cautiously optimistic that the new Top Gear on the BBC will be good. While it definitely won’t be the same as the one with Clarkson, Hammond, and May, it’ll still have a big production budget and some cast that I really enjoy seeing. Now it appears that they are preparing a special that includes something wholly American; the Mustang. An amateur photographer with a drone recently caught the cast filming an episode for the new series.

We do know that one of the show’s co-presenters, Chris Harris, is a pretty big fan of the new Mustang. It’s a V8-powered Muscle car with decent handling that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. The new Mustang is also the first global Mustang, meaning that it’s built in Michigan and shipped around the world, including right-hand drive versions.

I’ll reserve judgement for the new series until I see it, but it looks like it’s off to a good start!
