New England Motor Press Association Says “Suck it Snow” with the New F-150
Back when I used to be in a climate that had winter, there was nothing better than a big beefy 4WD truck to tackle the snow. Sure, it didn’t make me invincible, but it definitely helped in getting traction off the line.
That said, there are still parts of this country that have to deal with winter weather (I’ll think of them fondly as I sun bathe outside in my shorts). And as such, need the right vehicle for dealing with the weather.
That’s why, this year’s New England Motor Press Association has named the new Ford F-150 the Official Winter Vehicle of New England.
According to the association, the Ford F-150 is the toughest, smartest, most capable F-150 ever, and because the New England Motor Press Association never got stuck, and plowed through the terrible winters of this year, they had to give it their Award.
Here’s what the group had to say about the new truck. “For years, the F-150 proved itself as a solid workhorse for New Englanders,” said Craig Fitzgerald, president, New England Motor Press Association. “But the all-new 2015 Ford F-150 puts it in another class completely. With outstanding fuel economy, a world-class interior and EcoBoost V6 engine, you’ve got a combination that beat the worst storms during the worst winter in New England’s recorded history.”
Cheers to that!
