MUDDY MONDAY 2WD Ranger Shows Off in the Mud

06 ranger mudding

This week’s Muddy Monday video features a pair of Ford trucks – a 2006 Ranger and a 2013 F-150 – playing around in some backwoods mud.

The Ranger is powered by a 2.3L 4-cylinder engine and only has rear wheel drive while the F-150 is powered by the 3.5L EcoBoost V6 and it has four wheel drive. We don’t know if the F-150 is using the four wheel drive, but the little Ranger does an impressive job of getting through the mud with only the rear tires doing the work.

Sure, the mud is particularly deep, but it is most certainly deep enough to swallow up a poorly driven rear wheel drive pickup.

This Ranger, on the other hand, storms from one side of the slop to the other – over and over again – just as well as the bigger, stronger, 4WD F-150.

Crank up your speakers and enjoy!
