A Moment of Silence for Abandoned Ford Bronco
Seeing the state of this first-gen Bronco is heartbreaking…but also kind of beautiful.
We came across this picture of a first-generation Ford Bronco on Imgur and it gave us, as the kids say, all the feels. The Bronco was abandoned in the woods many years ago, as evidenced by the overgrowth of greenery and moss; almost feeling like an organic part of the woods. However, seeing such a fine Ford Bronco in such a state is pretty fascinating, but we can’t help but feel bad for our fallen comrade.
The image was posted to Reddit where the comments ran the gamut, from hilarious to earnest–and of course, included some classic OJ jokes. We’re definitely on board with DeserateXMeasures who said “This makes me sad. Love those old Broncos.” However, seeing that this Bronco still seems to be in pretty good shape, all things considered, we’d have to agree with Redditor Gabekon who said “Best ad Ford could’ve ever hoped for.” User Buck Thorn had the best joke, non-OJ category, with “That is some amazing camouflage!” As for who clinched the best OJ Bronco joke, we’re going with One Spicy Tuna Roll who quipped, “I guess that [Bronco] got away.”
There was a lively discussion on the value of what remains of this Bronco. But the most popular and recurring comments were basically…man, that is cool.
