The owner of this gorgeous 1975 Ford F-250 fell in love with it at the age of six and has kept it immaculate ever since.

While you typically see more vintage Ford trucks living with their original owner than most other vehicles, it’s still somewhat of a rarity. It takes a truly special truck to make someone want to hang onto it for 45 years, but this 1975 Ford F-250 certainly qualifies as such. And that’s why its current owner, Mike Terry, fell in love with when he first rode in it at the age of six, as he explained to Ford Trucks Daily.

Looking at the truck today, it’s easy to see why Terry wanted to own it so badly. But at the same time, he hasn’t driven the wheels off of it either, which is also somewhat unusual in the world of classic pickups. Keep reading to see what makes this 1975 Ford F-250 so cool and so unique.

Driven Sparingly

What’s particularly interesting about this F-250 is that neither Terry, nor anyone else, has driven it much over the last four plus decades. In fact, the truck only has 60k original miles, a pretty low sum for a pickup of this vintage. Clearly, he’s treasured the old Ford as more than just a workhorse, and its pampered life has kept it in simply immaculate condition.

Upkeep and Mods

That isn’t to say that the truck hasn’t required a bit of upkeep over the years. Since it was ordered new in Northern Kentucky, it was repainted back in 1988 and has received new carpet on the inside. The aluminum slot U.S. Mag wheels and beefy 35-inch tires are obviously not original as well, but most everything else is.

Original Stuff

Amazingly, even the fan belts on this truck are original, but little else has changed, either. And who can blame Terry or the truck’s previous owner(s)? After all, it’s nicely equipped as is, with factory air conditioning and a four-speed transmission behind the original 360 cubic-inch V8.

Total Gem

One thing’s for sure – you certainly don’t see trucks like this 1975 Ford F-250 every day. And while we’d wager that a lot of people would love to own this beauty, we doubt that Terry would ever consider parting ways with it after he was first smitten by it decades ago. But then again, neither would we.
