Lifted Diesel Ford F-250 Packs Loads of Extras: Marketplace Finds
A laundry list of upgrades helps make this 7.3-liter Power Stroke-equipped F-250 a pretty enticing proposition.
Used Super Duty prices tend to be pretty high, especially when you’re talking about diesel rigs. That’s even more true when said rigs are equipped with the legendary 7.3-liter Power Stroke. Thus, finding a nice used ride already equipped with typical mods like a suspension lift and big tires is a bonus, because you usually won’t pay a premium for that sort of stuff. And for all of those reasons and more, this killer 2000 Ford F-250 up for grabs in the FTE Marketplace is certainly worth a look.
This F-250 even has relatively low mileage, clocking in at 172,000. It’s a one-owner truck in overall very solid condition. But a laundry list of mods that makes it even more enticing. That all starts with the suspension, which has received a major overhaul thanks to a Fabtech 12.5″ lift. Most everything else has been fortified as well, including the u-bolts, steering knuckle, and massive 42.5″ Pitbull tires.
To make sure this diesel F-250 can turn those huge tires, the seller has also done some work in the performance department. A DP Tuner helps free up some extra ponies, along with an MBRP XP Series 4″ exhaust and delete. The transmission has also been beefed up with a BTS valve body and Precision Industries triple disk torque converter, to name a few.
Throw in an ’05 headlight conversion and ’08 mirror swap, and this F-250 is one heck of an enticing truck. It looks killer, has all the right parts, and promises to keep going for many more miles with no trouble. And that, friends, is what we call a proper used truck purchase!
