KC Mathieu’s ’68 Ford F-100 Video is Unbelievable!

By -

Car videos (or truck videos in our case) are one of the best things about the Internet (besides this website, of course). Most of the time, we’re just happy to see some big smokey burnouts and hear an unruly, ticked-off engine pinging off the rev limiter. However, the best car videos tell a story.

This video by, KCs Paint Shop, who you’ve seen painting cars & trucks on Discovery’s Fast ‘N Loud, made the rounds this past February, but in case you haven’t seen it, here’s the setup. KC is getting ready to enjoy a big heaping bowl of sugary cereal to start his Saturday morning, but his wife has other ideas.

KC’s got to pick something up at the store, so he hops in his 1968 Ford F-100. The drive starts out normal enough – nothing to see here, folks. Just your average 700HP grocery getter.

Soon enough, though, the pastoral quiet morning countryside scenes are interrupted by the sound of an unruly, Roush-supercharged Ford Racing Aluminator V-8. Sorry Chevy guys – no LS engine ever sounded this good.

Like any good story, this video has a crazy cast of characters, including a camel, a skateboarding donut, and of course, the truck itself. It’s got your big smokey burnouts. It’s got rump-shakin’, speaker-blowin’ engine sounds. But, like Burt Reynolds’ character Jack Horner said in Boogie Nights, we’ve gotta sit there because we have to know how the story ends.

Will KC complete his very important task? Will he make it home safe and sound? Will he ever enjoy that huge bowl of Lucky Charms? Watch the video and see for yourself.

You’ll thank me later.
