F-350 Dually: Installing a 2″ Leveling Kit

By -

YouTuber ‘FixItNick’ shows how a small difference makes a big truck look worlds better.

Ford dually pickup trucks have a tough look and a presence unmatched by almost anything else on the road. However, when they’re not towing or hauling, they have an unfortunate tendency to sit too low in the front.

While a forward rake on a musclecar is cool, a truck should stand tall and proud. YouTuber FixItNick has just started on a 2001 Ford F-350 project truck, and one of the first modifications he makes is a 2″ leveling kit up front.

True to its name, the leveling kit doesn’t lift the front end up too much, just enough to sit even with the rear. With some help from his son, Nick lifts the front end of the truck, puts it on jackstands, and removes the wheels in preparation for the leveling kit installation.
