Company will be auctioning one of their restomod Broncos to help aspiring designers with education costs.

When it comes to a perfect first-generation Ford Bronco, there may be no example finer than that custom builds from Icon 4×4. The company, helmed by Jonathan Ward, creates vintage Bronco restomods that are exceptionally awesome. The BR, their Bronco nameplate build, fuses attention to detail, modern technology, and classic Ford DNA. And now you can bid on one, with a portion of proceeds going to a good cause.

It will cost you, however. The auction shows the Bronco is already at $250,000.

But you shouldn’t feel bad dropping that kind of coin, as it all goes towards a good cause. Icon 4×4’s Old School BR chassis #63 donate a portion of the proceeds towards scholarships benefiting design students.

Icon teamed up with Autotype for the project. Ward told Petrolicious, “Autotype co-founder Derek Galkin and I share a lot of the same aesthetic sensibilities. We both appreciate design that is functional, clean and timeless. That said, we also appreciate modern technology and how it has improved the execution of most current designs.”
