HUMP DAY JUMP Early Ford Bronco Jumps Big and Shames a Jeep
Before we knock on Jeeps too much, we’ll admit that they are, indeed, rather unique American creations. Some people love Jeep, and we accept that. But no matter how you look at it, a Jeep just isn’t a Ford, and it never will be.
This video takes place at some dunes in Oregon and starts off with a Hemi Jeep leaping over a fairly decent ramp. It does a fine job and lands without any problems, but that’s not the focus of the amazing clip.
If you watch for a few more moments a very early Ford Bronco comes charging toward the same ramp. And it jumps big. In fact, the leap was 45 feet!
One might expect the old classic to be damaged after a leap like that, even on the sand dunes. Old parts simply result in wear and tear, and a jump as big as this would most certainly result in some rather negative repercussions — right? Wrong.
This Ford rig slides easily back to the ground. If you feel up to it, you can even re-watch the landing and notice that the rig doesn’t even have a slight issue with the jump. It is simply effortless.
So what are you waiting for? Check out the video of the amazing jump below!
