We Check Out Haynes Manuals’ Ford F-150 EcoBoost Project

By -

We visit the headquarters of the famous Haynes Manuals and find out just how much work goes into creating the iconic workshop publications.

Whether you learned your wrenching skills from your dad, or you were taught them at your high school’s auto tech class, you’ve most likely used a Haynes Manual at some point. Since 1965, the Haynes Publishing Group has provided weekend grease monkeys and certified automotive technicians clear and concise diagrams to more than 160 kinds of motor vehicles.

Our very own Manuel Carrillo III has been wrenching on what we call #ProjectStork; the 1977 Porsche 911 S that’s been in his family since new, and the exact car that brought him home from the hospital after he was born. The #ProjectStork restoration is taking place at the Haynes Manuals headquarters in California where he happened to bump into the Haynes team as they performed a 2017 F-150 EcoBoost complete teardown and rebuild.

We invite you to check out the video we posted to the Ford Truck Enthusiasts Facebook page, as well as our original photos!
