Lewis Hamilton Storms Los Angeles with Original Cobra
A few days ago, Formula 1 Champion, and current title leader, Lewis Hamilton took some down time before the Spanish Grand Prix to play around in L.A. with one of his most prized possessions. An original 1966 427 AC Cobra.
Not only is this real original Cobra worth a fortune, but Hamilton is possibly considering running it in the Gumball 3000 rally later this year, which would be a terrible idea.
The Gumball 3000, for those of you that haven’t heard of it, is a race for rich people to run across both Europe and America in supercars and exotics at illegal rates of speed, all while pretending it’s for a good cause.
While Hamilton is still on his quest for triple world champion, entering into the Gumball 3000 is a bit odd to the rest of the world.
It’s dangerous, obnoxious, and potentially hazardous to his chances at the championship. But more so than that, if Hamilton uses the Cobra, it could end in tragedy.
Cars in the Gumball 3000 sometimes don’t fare so well when pushed hard. Although those people are Formula 1 drivers.
