‘Grey Noise’ Is One Badass Ford Truck Project
Like any proper diesel build, this Ford truck project is loud, brash, and in-your-face!
The world of trucks has certainly changed a lot in recent years. After all, we used to be all about rear-wheel drive, gas-powered trucks. But these days, diesel, four-wheel drive pickups are all the rage. Diesel mania has swept this nation, and you can find any number of awesome Ford truck builds on any social media platform you choose. But one of the cooler diesel Ford truck projects we’ve spotted recently belongs to a man named Bill Renner.
The freshly recruited Marine has been working on this badass ride for quite some time now with his father. And it’s come from pretty humble beginnings to what you see before you. The matte grey paint job looks pretty sinister, especially when you combine it with painted bumpers and blacked out trim. Bringing it all together is a set of 20×14 Wicked Wheels wrapped in Nitto tires.
With the outside pretty much wrapped up, the current focus is under the hood. Where, at the moment, you’ll find an empty engine bay. That’s because Renner is in the midst of waiting for his fresh 7.3-liter Power Stroke to be finished. From what we can gather, the turbo diesel is receiving a laundry list of performance parts, including an Adrenaline HPOP, homemade E-fuel, and an intake routed through the headlight. Why? Well, just because it looks cool.
Throw in a massive bed-mounted hood stack, and you’ve got one audacious ride. It’s obvious that Renner has put a ton of work into his sweet diesel Ford truck, and we can’t wait to see the finished product. You too can follow along with his progress (and see how things have progressed to date), by giving him a follow on Instagram!
