This Gorgeous Green 1959 Ford F-100 Is the One to Get
Ford’s third generation of its F-Series trucks saw massive changes in styling over the previous generation. They may not be quite as appreciated as the much beloved second-generations, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t fantastic trucks in their own right. The squared off, wide box look started a styling trend that would live on for decades.
Things don’t get much cooler than a nicely done third-generation in its original garb. Especially when it’s the perfect shade of dark green like this 1959 F-100. With a white grille, bumpers, steel wheels, and tires, this one is a great example of the breed, and quite literally a rolling time warp.
Power comes from the original 292 V8 and gears are selected manually – just the way it should be. Most everything in or on the truck has been rebuilt or replaced, from the rubber moldings to the glass. The interior is as spartan as the outside, with a flat black bench and big ‘ole steering wheel.
When it comes to classy cruisers, it’s hard to beat this green ’59. With bold and unique styling that’s complimented by a color that makes you want to head to the farm, you simply can’t go wrong with this one!
