1958 F-100 Parts FREE for a Good Home
Looking for a few parts to complete your 1950s F-100 build? Have we got a find for you! There’s a ton of parts for 1957-1960 F-100s available for free in our Marketplace in New Richmond, Wisconsin. These parts are what remain of a completed restoration project by one of our forum members.
And what you can take home for free? The poster says there’s everything from left- and right-side front and front inner fenders, to a hood with a piece cut from the front for the project, and three cowl rain guards. The big piece, though, is the cab. The poster describes the potential jewel as a “Bare Cab Weld, Roof is only part intact. (floor badly rusted and cut, dash is cut etc).” Thus, with a lot of work, a new floor pan and dash, and lots of sanding and rust-proofing, you could have a usable cab to cap off your own F-100 project.
There are tons more parts available that aren’t on the listing, which the poster says you can ask about. If any parts remain after a certain point this summer, they will go with a car on the poster’s property to the junkyard, where they will likely become scrap. For the price of free with free local delivery, what have you got to lose when it comes to completing your project?
