Trekgurl's E-Series and 1st-Gen Bronco

New FTE Forums member from North Carolina is a Ford girl from way back, recently joined our forums after years of lurking.

The Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums is the perfect place for all things related to Ford trucks and SUVs. From exchanging advice on how to get the most out of your new F-150, to sharing your finished project, we’ve got it all in our forums.

Of course, the most important thread in our forums is our new member introductions thread. Let’s meet one of our newest members now.

Trekgurl describes herself as being “as southern fried as you can get,” hailing from North Carolina. She says that while she officially joined the forum in January 2018, she lurked “for many years as a guest.” If you’re wondering if the forum game is right for you, lurking is definitely a bold move, as it allows you to get a feel for how things are before jumping in.

Ford Ranch Wagon

Trekgurl says she’s always been a Ford girl, dating back to her first car, a 1965 Ranch Wagon given to her by her favorite uncle. This was then followed by a 1974 Bronco, which she sold after 11 years. After spending time on an Indian motorcycle, her favorite uncle came through with a 1990 E-350, which she was made to give back following his passing due to family drama. Trekgurl then had a pair of 1995 and 1997 Aerostar cargo vans, which gave way to the 1969 Bronco and 2013 E250 seen above.

As for her joining the forum, she’s mainly looking for answers to questions she’d normally receive from her father and uncles, “but sadly most have passed.” Trekgurl has plans to turn her new E250 “into a camper, expedition, tow pig, go to take naps in type vehicle.” We look forward to seeing her van become the home of her dreams, and we welcome Trekgurl to the FTE Forum.
